My dear friend Marjie Longshore has a wonderful nonprofit organization, the Family Leadership Center, which trains parents, caregivers, teachers, and community leaders to help bring out the best in children and teenagers. I was honored and delighted when she asked me to design a logo for this great organization. We wanted it to be loving, friendly, and peaceful and also to suggest growth. (Right now, classes are only being taught in the Yarmouth, Maine, area, but they might one day also be online workshops. You can read a little about the great work they are doing here.)
